One of two plaques on the boundary wall of the Category B Listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB26446 steading which was built on the site of the thatched cottage where Mary Campbell (Highland Mary of Burns fame) was born. "The golden hours on angel wings. Flew o'er me and my dearie; Now green's the sod and cauld's the clay, That wraps my Highland Mary!" For dear to me as light and life Was my sweet Highland Mary."
