Vale Mills, Oakworth

Vale Mills was built as a cotton mill for John Greenwood and his Son in the early 19th century. The Greenwoods also built cottages and a school for their mill workers. The oldest part of the mills is a Grade II listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1200761 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1200761 ).
