This delightful promenade lies behind (on the river side) of the two recently constructed buildings known as Smokehouse One and Smokehouse Two (see https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6199093 & https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6199087 ) with the North Shields to South Shields Ferry Landing slightly downstream.
