Renovation of the Park is due to commence in July 2019, although preparatory work including the removal of the ornate gateway which graced this view of Pearson Avenue, started some time ago in late 2018. Just visible above the central trees is the roof and chimney of the Eastern Lodge. This building will also be brought back to life as part of the renovation.
