These two streets meet at their junction with Prospect Street, which can be seen heading off to the left. The building ahead is the Horncastle Antiques Centre. To the left can be seen the pub sign for The Fighting Cocks and to the right is The Mallard Tea Room and Gift Shop. It looks like an early Sunday morning, but is in fact three 'o' clock on a Monday afternoon. There would be more activity one hundred years ago. In fairness, the main road by-passes Horncastle.
