The lower part of the range, above the blue Citroen and rather hidden by the small brick building, is a pair of 17th century timber-framed cottages with 19th century alterations. They were Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101367623-stanton-cottages-shifnal#.XRif8OhKjcs & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1367623 in 1984, but are not in great condition and would probably be considered 'At Risk' if they were to be checked by Historic England any time in the near future. The building with the two gabled fronts on the right here is not part of the listed structure, but sadly is in a similarly parlous condition.
