Fallen elm on Green Lane

Since the onset of Dutch Elm disease this tree would have reached the maximum height that elms now reach before succumbing to the disease. However it is not the disease which has caused its demise. Green Lane is classified as a byway but only someone on foot (or possibly a bicycle) could easily traverse it.
