Opened in 1859 by the Oxford Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway, later part of the Great Western Railway, on what became the line from Cheltenham to Stratford-upon-Avon, this station closed in 1966. View north towards the later station, also Chambers Crossing Halt and Stratford-upon-Avon. The single 1859 platform and station building would have been to the right of the image, the 1908 platforms were on the far side of the level crossing, beyond the gate. The track-bed is now a path and bridleway.
