Easily missed, these pair of firemen flanking an old manual fire engine are above the door of estate agents, R A Bennett & Partners in Euston Place in Leamington Spa. The sculpted group are in fact the trademark of the Birmingham Fire Office which was established in 1805. The figures were originally on the opposite side of the road on a ledge on the front of the former Locke & England offices at 166 The Parade.
