The Lamb of God is an ancient Christian symbol represented countless times in paintings and sculptures. Possibly not quite so often in topiary. This probably boxwood lamb is in the formal garden at Buckden Palace, once owned by the Bishops of Lincoln and now a centre for religious study and retreat.
