Old Lifeboat Station at Quarry Green, Campbeltown

This was not the original lifeboat station at Campbeltown, 1861 The RNLI established a lifeboat station and a boathouse was built at the New Quay. This station was established in 1898 and operated until 1929 when the lifeboat was moored at the Old Quay in Campbeltown Harbour.
