This old milestone stands on the north west side of the A4151 through Littledean, near 'Littledean Jail'. According to Old-maps the inscription was defaced in the war, but once read 'Coleford 7 Gloucester 12' - Milestone Society National ID: GL_ELCO03. There is a cancelled Ordnance Survey bench mark at the base of the stone that faces the road - Image
