Bridge#55 on the Shropshire Union Canal (Little Mill Bridge) dates from the late- eighteenth century (ca 1797-1801*) with minor later alterations. It is a Grade II listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1366536 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1366536 ). * This section of the Ellesmere Canal was completed c.1801. The Ellesmere Canal Company amalgamated with the Chester Canal Company in 1813 and became part of the Shropshire Union in 1846.
