An old Ice House beside the Lions House Allotments at Berwick

Just beside the allotments here on the left is an old ice house. It belonged to the Berwick Salmon Fishing Company. They used to store ice here all the year round. The ice was used to pack around fish and so keep it fresh. There are several other ice houses in Berwick.
