I always try to use a memorial bench if I see one, even if it is just for a quick sit down. Here we had lunch (turkey slices in French Stick, apples, mini Cheddars and water if I recall correctly) and paid our respects to the person named on this little plaque on this well sited bench. It sits overlooking a tree nursery and a grassy field or two. I hope the owner of the land wouldn't have minded! Maybe they have a connection to the plaque? Who knows. A lovely bench that seemed to call us in. Thank you.
