The ‘New’ Palace Amusement Centre on New Brighton Marine Promenade was completed in 1939 at a cost of £11,000 and replaced the original "Palace" amusement arcade created by George Wilkie. It has been run by the Wilkie family since 1912. Update to the original photo submitted in 2005, note the adjacent gardens have now been replaced by the rebuilt Floral Pavilion. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/39705
