The spire of St Giles Roman Catholic Church in Cheadle, the church is known as 'Pugin's Gem'. The church was designed by architect Augustus Pugin and funded by the 16th Earl of Shrewsbury of nearby Alton Towers. The interior of the church is extremely ornate.
