Photographed from the top floor of a house on High Street. The hall with the chimneys is the old Anstruther Wester town hall, dating from 1795 and Category C listed. The tower, and hall that is almost entirely hidden by the town hall, is of 16th century date, and was the parish church. It is Category A listed.
