Just opened in Clarendon Square Shopping Centre in the unit previously occupied by Textiles Directs is "Get Free Books". http://www.ict21c.com/?page_id=2414 Due to the way in which books are manufactured they cannot be recycled in the same way as paper so unwanted books are sent straight to landfill sites. People are being encouraged to donate books to the shop and visitors can take away up to three free books per visit. It is a project by the Global Education Trust http://www.globaleducationaltrust.org/
