A sculpted grotesque dragon on a gate pier in front of Malvern St James College Image], when originally built the building was the Imperial Hotel, a railway hotel serving the nearby Great Malvern railway station. Each pier has a pair of dragons like this in various states of decay. This is one of the better ones.
