Hatfield House is a red brick country house, a prime example of Jacobean architecture, set within the Great Park about 21 miles north of London. Built in 1611 by Robert Cecil, 1st Earl of Salisbury, it has been the home of the Cecil family ever since and is currently the home of the 7th Marquess and Marchioness of Salisbury and their family.
