- Airfield Battle Headquarters: EDoB ID: e01173 The main entrance to RAF Exeter's Battle HQ. Unusual is the extended angled brick and concrete canopy over the entrance stairway. The bunker is in remarkable condition with many features such as lighting and electrical switchgear remaining in-situ. Surprisingly the interior is quite dry, although the landowner informed me it does flood to a depth of a foot or so on occasion. Image
