The hall is also known as Coylton Community Centre, although located in the Hillhead end of the village. Designed by A.C. Thomson, the hall dates from 1909 and was erected in memory of a son of Sundrum Castle. The Hamilton coat of arms is on the front of the semi-circular porch.
