Opened in 1873 by the East Gloucestershire Railway, later part of the Great Western Railway, as the terminus of the line from Oxford, this station closed in 1962. View west from the former road bridge towards the buffers. See Image for a similar view some 69 years earlier. The area has been redeveloped so no trace of the station apparently remains.
