The Pightles

Looking south-east towards Ewelme from the junction with Cottesmore Lane. Behind the camera a right-of-way continues across a field. The name - The Pightles - is a curious one. I have met with it elsewhere (in Denham, Buckinghamshire, for instance) but have yet to discover its meaning.
