In a wooded area at the top of High Street, Buckhaven is this WW2 observation post. It was the control position for a submarine minefield which was laid in the approaches to Methil Docks https://canmore.org.uk/site/84267/methil-wellesley-road-xdo-post The building in the background is the White Swan Hotel, giving rise to this area being known locally as ''The Swan Brae'' Image
