Built in the centre of Cerrigydrudion, across the town square from the church. They were built in 1717 by Robert Price, the son of a local family, who made his fortune as a judge. The almshouses had six rooms, each with an open fire, a curtained sleeping area, a long garden and a privy at the end of it. Over the centuries there have been amendments and extensions and now there are three houses for local villagers.
