'White Cottage' Church Road North

Jenkins' funeral directors in Church Road North, the business has occupied this 17th century cottage for many years. It is named 'White Cottage' on the very earliest 1851 Ordnance Survey map and is regarded as the oldest building in Wavertree. The adjacent Waterloo Street has the remains of an ancient sandstone wall where there was once a dairy.
