Plaque on the south wall of the Church of St Francis of Assisi in Byrness adjacent to the beautiful Catcleugh window Image Catcleugh Reservoir: Image "You will leave behind you comrades In the old churchyard to sleep And your little babes and children Oft of them you'll think and weep Beneath the old tree resting When you are far away They will keep on in their slumbers Till the great 'wakening day.
