The evidence of medieval strip farming methods in this field is clearly visible in the November afternoon sunshine. Roadside Farm is to the right and was my intended destination on my walk. The missed footpath runs diagonally across the right hand corner of this photograph towards the gap between the buildings. See Image for an explanation and Image for the start of the walk.
