It is wonderful to find a village pub that is open and even more surprising to find one open 7 days a week from 1130 in the morning with meals at lunchtimes. It has its own micro brewery plus other beers on tap. We were 15+ miles into a walk from Birdsall and 16 of us quenched our thirst, my pint of shandy went down a treat.
