Taken just as the seconds on the clock display are changing, while the scrolling display naming the stops of the next train is coming to an end with the words "A Southeastern Service", denoting the name of the train operator. The next train after the two listed is the 2359 rather than the 0000, as the exact time of midnight does not appear in any British Rail timetable lest there be confusion as to which day it belongs to.
