House and shop, now shops and restaurant. Mid C19, altered 1881-1884 by RC Sutton of Nottingham for Jesse Boot. Restored and converted c1980. This was the first chemists' shop opened by Jesse Boot. It is a fine early example of a cast iron and plate glass shop front and showroom. Listed Grade II. The current paint scheme does not do justice to the detail which shows up much better in this 2012 view by Stephen Richards https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4107078 .
