On April 4th 2019 a Welsh/English temporary notice showing GORSAF BLEIDLEISIO/POLLING STATION is outside the Grade II listed Malpas Court Mansion House. This is one of many polling stations in the west side of the city which are open today from 7am to 10pm for voting to elect the Member of Parliament for the Newport West Constituency. The by-election was caused by the death of Paul Flynn MP (Labour Party) in February. The names of eleven candidates are on the voting form.
