Wetherspoons pub on Clarence Street, in a building which was once the Kingston Empire, dating from 1910. Internally, there is a wide back counter, with eating and drinking areas front, left and right, also upstairs. Silent TV, games machines; ten cask ales were on offer at my visit. The pub is Good Beer Guide-listed. http://www.arthurlloyd.co.uk/Kingston.htm#empire
