Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101177291-the-almshouses-bridgnorth#.XKOvH5hKjIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1177291 as early as 1949, these almshouses were built in 1792; the far end of the row had to be rebuilt in 1950, following a direct hit from a stray German bomb during a raid in 1940. It's to be assumed the plane was on a mission to a target in Birmingham or the Black Country, but was lost and found an alternative target. The block is now converted to apartments.
