The Archaeological Way and the River Meden A617 underpass

  The underpass provides a link between Chesterfield Road, behind the viewpoint and The Archaeological Way / Meden Trail / Meden Trail Nature Reserve, ahead. The original course of the River Meden forms the boundary between Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire near this point, being a few metres to the south-east.
