The redevelopment of The Cornhill cost £3.6m and has not been universally popular https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/ipswich-residents-opinion-of-renovated-cornhill-1-5763819. Despite the work, which was intended to bring more shoppers into the town centre, the former Grimwades building remains empty. The market stalls which used to be here on Saturdays have been moved to several streets to the South Image
