In 2007 November 11 fell on a Sunday, ensuring a good turnout on a bright autumn morning for the traditional ceremony of Remembrance. Flag Square, fronted by the Harris Museum Image, provides a perfect location. The mood in the crowd was very quiet throughout, perhaps reflecting awareness that stupid wars are not just a thing of the past.
