Metal plate attached to stone post by the A6107, in parish of Huddersfield (Kirklees District), Bradley Road; just East of T-junction with the A641, on pavement in front of No. 417, on South side of road. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : ELLAND / 2½ MILES : : DEWSBURY & ELLAND / ROAD / BRADLEY : : WAKEFIELD / 12¾ MILES / DEWSBURY / 7 MILES : Maker:- : BRAYSHAW & BOOTH / MAKERS / LIVERSEDGE. : Milestone Society National ID: YW_DWEL07
