Metal plate attached to stone post by the B4203, in parish of Norton (District), Sandy Cross, on verge in bottom of hedge, opposite cottage. Bromyard iron plate, erected by the Bromyard turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO BROMYARD 2 MILES Herefordshire SMR.
