Carved stone post by the A1060 (A1184), in parish of Bishop's Stortford (East Hertfordshire District), London Road, North of junction with Hallingbury Road, in wall, on East side of road. Hockerill stone, erected by the Hockerill turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (London) (28) Hertfordshire HER & St Albans UAD.
