Metal plate attached to stone post by the B1248, in parish of Dalton Holme (East Riding of Yorkshire District), 400m North of Southern junction to Lund, on grass verge, on South West side of road. Beverley plate, erected by the Beverley to Kendale House turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- BEVERLEY 6 - MALTON 22 Humber HER.
