Carved stone post by the A283, in parish of Witley (Waverley District), Witley next door to Fosters 1883, set in boundary wall behind path, on West side of road. Petworth stone, erected by the Petworth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- HYDE PARK CORNER 34 MILES PETWORTH 12 MILES GODALMING 2 MILES CHIDDINGFOLD 3 MILES Milestone Society National ID: SY_LMP35
