Stone post (plate lost) by the UC road, in parish of South Petherton (South Somerset District), Yellands, between West Lambrook and Compton Durville, on grass bank, on West side of road. LSCC iron plate, erected by the Langport, Somerton & Castle Cary turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (Langport) (7) (Crewkerne) (6) Somerset HER.
