Oxford Canal: Bridge Number 137A

Bridge Number 137A is a turnover bridge, taking the towpath from one side of the canal to the other. It is a Grade II Listed structure and the Historic England website describes it thus:- "Canal roving bridge. Early C19. Cast iron, with 2 pairs of similar castings forming arch and balustrade, and footway and underside of arch of cast plates. Basket arch. Slightly curved footway and openwork balustrade."
