Broadfield House, Crawley

A grade II listed building of about 1830 with later extensions. It was used as the headquarters of the new town development corporation from 1947 to disbandment, thereafter with no long term occupancy, latterly by two schools. Each of these was closed after short periods after being found educationally or financially deficient.
