Overgrown cutting at Pentre Berw. The 17.5 mile Anglesey Central Railway between Gaerwen and Amlwch opened in 1866. It closed to passengers in 1964 and to freight in 1993. Most of the track remains in situ and there are plans to eventually re-open the line as a heritage railway.
