The terrace of 5 houses, along with the iron railings outside the frontage, dates from 1793 when they were designed and built by a local architect by the name of Joseph Bromfield. The whole ensemble was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101270561-numbers-22-24-and-number-25-the-crescent-and-adjoining-railings-shrewsbury#.XJs0sZj7RPY in 1953, although no 25 nearest the camera was listed in 1969.
