Stone post (plate lost) by the A38, in parish of Alveston (South Gloucestershire District), Gloucester Road, Southwest of junction with Rudgeway Park, on West side of road. Sodbury Aust plate, erected by the Sodbury Division turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads/read:- TO (Sodbury) (8) Milestone Society National ID: GL_SYAU08
